Motorized Stock Straighteners

All models include entrance drive rolls, straightening rolls, and variable speed DC drive. These individually adjustable rolls are precision ground and heat treated for long term service. Entrance and exit adjustable roller assembly is standard.

Heavy Duty Stock Straightener

The SD motorized straighteners are available up to 60" wide in AC motorized and AC variable speed (30 - 90 FPM). Motors are 220 volts or 440 volts, 3 phase. Each machine has one set of entrance drive rolls, one set of exit rolls and seven straightening rolls. Standard equipment includes loop controller, inclined head, dial indicators, black oxide finish, easy access maintenance panel and variable speed models have an antenna control.

Uncoiler-Straightener Combo

Uses Air and 3/4 H.P. 90 VoltDC electrics. Great for saving floor space in the small shop. These Durant machines have 7 straightener rolls, 2 drive rolls, a variable speed DC drive and proportional loop control. 0 - 90 FPM. The electric drive uses a smooth accurate loop of metal to prevent coil marking.

LP Series Servo Roll Feed

Installation is a snap with a Durant servo feed - stock straightener combo. The MP and VP Series includes an adjustable mounting bracket as standard. Only four bolts are necessary for quick easy installation. The FP and HP Series allows for the heavy duty adjustable mounting bracket as an optional item. Heavy Duty UnCoiler

Available in powered (with variable speed drive) and non-powered (with adjustable air brake). Wedge type arbor expansion insures smooth and easy loading. Manual expansion is standard on machines smaller than 15,000 Lbs capacity. Hydraulic expansion optional.
On 15,000 Lbs capacity machines hydraulic expansion is standard. Optional hydraulic hold down arm available.
All Durant HD uncoilers have a max O.D. of 60".

Double Stock Reel UnCoilers

Increase your factory productivity! Consider double stock reels with fixed spindle shafts for material on spools or adjustable expanding spindles for bulk coils. All models of Durant stock reels are available in double spindle version. When one side of reel is operating the other side can be loaded. A foot release keeps the reel in position. It can be turned 180 degrees when fully loaded using the foot pedal. Antenna loop control is standard equipment. Many models are available with coiler keeper arms or coil discs. Coil discs are recommended for thin delicate materials.
These machines are manufactured as unmotorized "pull-off" type with brake or motorized uncoilers up to 3 horsepower. Choose either solid core or adjustable expanding core. 3 year warranty.
Options: Solid Core Main Shaft with Coil Disc., Variable Speed Drive.

• To prolong the life of your tooling, oil can be supplied evenly and thinly to the upper and lower surfaces of the metal or the oil can be precisely positioned on each strip.
• A filter screen is located in the oil supply reservoir for re-use.
• Both upper and lower rollers are made of high quality high density felt.

Set the count mechanism to indicate number of parts being collected per position and these Durant models will index 45° to the next of the 8 positions when signaled.
